I called him with a really weird problem, the result of a contractor not doing his job properly and leaving me with a wall that was left completely without any waterproofing and virtually no access to fix it. Ben specifically went out of his way to give me advice on how to fix it and the best way to go about it. “I just got off the phone with Ben at Weather Masters and had to write a review.  I have a situation at my home which is going to require waterproofing underground.  I have spoken to so many clowns in this field, it was a pleasure to speak with someone who was so nice and knowledgeable.  Though my job is not a very large one and may not be worth it for a company like his, he was willing to take his time with me to help me understand what I need.

“When I bought an 8 year-old architectural mid-century modern home in Beverly Hills that had a few leaks, the original contractor had no solutions for me but his assistant looked up and found Ben -- whom they had never used before.

18 years later I am still working with Ben! Everything he has touched has been done properly and held up without any issues.

I have been through a few subsequent contractors and the ones I've used, that never knew Ben before I introduced them, were impressed enough to add him to their Rolodex.  And the contractors that did know  Ben --but typically use other waterproofers (because they are less expensive) always ended up not being great and the caliber of work that I expect. While it's a bummer to spend money on something you cannot actually see -- it's even more of a bummer to live in a home with leaks and water issues that have damaged furniture, rugs and irreplaceable pieces of art.

If you are building a house from scratch, I can't stress enough the importance of spending the money and doing it right the first time with Ben at Weather Masters Waterproofing. You won't have any regrets. If you have a home with any current issues, I guarantee Ben can fix it and you will be happy.

Like previous reviews noted - Ben is a class act and a good guy and a rare gem to find.  There is nobody in the construction industry that I would trust more than Ben. Period .”

“I recently bought a house in Santa Monica and I wanted to make some additions and touch up some areas of the house . Within a few weeks of closing escrow, I began to look for all viable options of waterproofing companies...from joe schmoes to high end waterproofers. Of the many, Weather Masters was the company I was referred to the most..so I decided to give them a try.

Undeniably, I requested bids from three contractors, just to make sure I was getting what I needed. I dealt most of my concerns with Ben - who is the go to guy for all waterproofing related concerns at Weather Masters. He came to my house first thing in the morning, did his walk through, and within three days, gave me a full blown detailed estimate.

One of the other companies wanted to hot mop the shower pans, so I knew off the bat that was not the quality I wanted. My other option had MANY items marked as REQUIRED while WM divided the same items as necessary and 'optional'...I guess, in my terms, they weren't trying to push me to do things I didn't need to do.

My addition is finally done and I'm more than glad that I stuck with my decision. Yes, their price was a little higher than my alternatives, but it was well worth their customer service, notice to detail, and quality of material. At one point, they put me three days ahead of schedule; no thanks to my concrete guy, I fell back on track with his delays.

All in all, I would DEFINITELY work with them again. Ben is the man! Go Weather Masters!”

I wanted to personally thank you for your hard work at the South Beverly Grill. This was an incredibly challenging project, but you rose to that challenge with a can-do approach and the flexibility it took to meet the client’s needs on a daily basis.
